teaching
Recruited as an urban spatial analytics specialist, my teaching at the University of Virginia emphasizes geospatial data and quantitative methods and the ways they intersect with planning practice.
As a first-generation college graduate I am sensitive to diversity of needs and learning styles I encounter in the classroom. I enjoy mentoring students and I have directly supervised or served as a committee member for many Master’s and doctoral students over the years.
Regularly Delivered Courses
In addition to regularly delivering the above courses during my time at UVA, I will we taking over our department’s undergraduate planning methods course (PLAN 3050) in Spring 2025.
